Responsible for the day to day running of Sacred Heart Catholic High School. Mrs Howell has the strategic overview of Staffing, Recruitment and Selection, Teaching and Learning, Quality Assurance, SLT links and School to School Support.

Responsible for Initial Teacher Training & School Finances. Mr Douglass is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Bishop Bewick Catholic Education Trust.

Responsible for pastoral care in KS3 and KS4, progress, safeguarding and PSHCE. Mr Clarke also teaches Chemistry.

Responsible for quality of education, quality assurance systems, literacy and maths across the curriculum. Miss Connolly has the strategic overview of the Sacred Heart SCITT and also teaches English.

Responsible for curriculum, progress in KS3-5, assessment systems, data analysis, examinations, target setting, pupil premium and student tracking. Mr Cousins also teaches Physics.

Responsible for Personal Development across school and specifically Careers/CEIAG, as well as school site and Health and Safety. Mr Donnelly also teaches Chemistry.

Responsible for whole school teaching and learning, continuous professional development, coaching and action research. Mr Bradley also teaches Geography.

Responsible for primary transition, IT strategy and websites, educational visits and internal events. Mr Ashton-Thompson teaches Computer Science and is the Head of IT, Marketing & Communication for the Bishop Bewick Catholic Education Trust.

Mrs Tivnen is responsible for Sixth Form, Key Stage 5 curriculum and data (alongside Mr Cousins) and the Sacred Heart Alumni. Mrs Tivnen is a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and teaches Applied Law.

Mrs Craig is responsible for Ethos, the Sacred Heart Network, Sacred Heart Goals and the RSHE curriculum. Mrs Craig also teaches Religious Studies.
