What are Taster Sessions: Subject tasters | Undergraduate study | The University of Sheffield
Subject taster sessions offer students an opportunity to experience a university lecture or seminar, to get a taste of what studying at university is like.
The interactive sessions are available for year 12 and 13 students who are considering their post-16 options. Sheffield have a wide range of subjects to choose from and sessions are delivered both online and on-campus.
On the day you’ll join a group of other year 12 and 13 students for an interactive seminar, lecture or workshop. During the session you’ll learn more about your chosen subject, speak to academic and teaching staff, and experience what it’s like to be a University of Sheffield student.
