Whether you dream of becoming a nurse, a paramedic, or any other healthcare professional, this work experience is your ticket to gaining valuable insight and making an informed decision about your future career.

During the work experience day, you will follow two patients from their initial presentation to recovery, gaining a unique and unforgettable insight into the world of healthcare. You will interact with a variety of NHS healthcare professionals, including:
- Nursing
- Midwifery
- Paramedicine
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Dietetics
- Radiography
- Prosthetics and Orthotics
- Speech and Language Therapy
- Pharmacy
You will have the opportunity to interact with healthcare professionals throughout the day, empowering you to make informed career decisions and demonstrating your passion for healthcare in their UCAS application.
Once you’ve registered, you will be emailed links to your virtual work experience portals.
You are awarded a Work Experience Certificate for every session you complete. Those who complete the full 5-month programme will be awarded a Highly Commended Reference from the Presidents of Allied Healthcare Mentor. These are fantastic additions to your CVs!
We recommend booking early to gain as much out of this programme as possible. Places are £10 a session to cover administrative and technological costs. If you are entitled to the 16-19 bursary please see your HoY with regards cost.
